Toru Toyokawa

Director of Finance & Operations

Toru Toyokawa is a globally minded finance and operations executive with deep expertise in restaurant management, corporate finance, and hospitality. Born in Tokyo and raised in Toronto until the age of 12, he returned to Japan with a strong passion for food and a global outlook shaped by extensive international travel and exposure to diverse culinary cultures.

Toru earned his degree in International Economics and Politics from Aoyama Gakuin University, with a focus on accounting and finance. After graduating, he pursued the path of becoming a Certified Public Accountant, building a strong foundation in financial reporting, compliance, and business strategy.

He began his career with Global Dining Inc. in Tokyo, where he joined the accounting team and quickly advanced to lead the Finance & Accounting Department. Following his success in Japan, Toru relocated to Los Angeles and now serves as Director of Finance & Operations for Global Dining Inc. of California. In this role, he oversees financial strategy, operational performance, and cross-functional execution for key properties including 1212 Santa Monica, La Boheme West Hollywood, and Settecento DTLA, ensuring both fiscal health and exceptional guest experiences.
